FIELD: medicine, cardiology.
SUBSTANCE: one should detect the power of high-frequency component range and total power of cardiac variability. One should calculate the value of relative vagus activity (VRVA) (U) by the following formula: VRVA=100*HF/(TP-HF), where HF - the power of high-frequency component range of cardiac variability (sq. msec); TP - total power of cardiac variability (sq. msec). At VRVA value being above 18 one should consider relative vagus activity to be high, at values ranged 13-18 - to be average, and at values being below 13 - to be low. The innovation enables to take into account the activities of various physiological systems.
EFFECT: higher accuracy and efficiency of evaluation.
