FIELD: medicine, cardiology.

SUBSTANCE: one should detect the power of low-frequency component range and total power of cardiac variability. One should calculate the value of relative activity of vasculomotor center (VRAV) (U) by the following formula: VRAV=100*LF/(TP-LF), where LF - the power of low-frequency component range of cardiac variability (sq. msec); TP - total power of cardiac variability (sq. msec). At VRAV value being above 41 one should consider relative activity of vasculomotor center to be high, at values ranged 29-41 - to be average, and at values being below 29 - to be low. The innovation enables to take into account activities of various physiological systems.

EFFECT: higher accuracy and efficiency of evaluation.
