FIELD: medical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: device has longitudinally passing foot keel, connection member attached to the foot keel and vertical elastic crus rod. The crus rod has convex curved forward lower end directed downward. The lower end is attached to the foot keel by means of connection member for creating talocrural foot articulation zone. The upper end is used for making connection to bearing structure on the lower extremity of a person subjected to extremity amputation. The connection member has elastic material forming articulation providing foot prosthesis movement in walking along closed kinetic chain. The articulation has axis oriented in a way that the foot is movable around articulation axis primarily belonging to frontal and transverse planes.

EFFECT: improved applied mechanics properties.
