FIELD: medicine; traumatology and orthopaedics.
SUBSTANCE: foot prosthesis includes foot carina, and shin rod attached to foot carina to form talocrural joint area of foot prosthesis. The device attached between upper end of shin rod and lower segment of prosthesis is usable to provide backward motion and motion control of upper end of shin rod while prosthesis used. The device is provided with springs which accumulate energy for power load when upper end of shin rod moves forward in walking. This device returns accumulated energy for power load as kinetic energy to contribute into motive power affecting user's body and generated by prosthesis in walking. Foot prosthesis energy storage for power load of foot prosthesis returns accumulated energy for power unload thus increasing kinetic energy generated for motive power by foot prosthesis in walking.
EFFECT: improved dynamic characteristics on response to action of applied force.
