FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: method involves intravenously introducing photosensitizer and exposing the newly-formed blood vessels of anterior chamber angle to laser radiation field-by-field. First, anterior chamber angle neovascularization projection zone is irradiated in fields in translimbal way with low intensity laser radiation of wavelength 633 nm at a dose of 2.5 J or 890 nm at a dose of 1.2 J. Liposomal pharmaceutical dosage form of chlorine-row photosensitizer is intravenously injected at a dose of 0.8-1.1 mg/kg during 10-15 min. The newly-formed blood vessels of anterior chamber angle are exposed to laser radiation in translimbal way 15-20 min later after having finished photosensitizer injections with laser radiation fields being not greater than 3 mm in diameter with wavelength corresponding to maximum light radiation absorption by photosensitizer in liposomal pharmaceutical dosage form when luminous power is equal to 20-40J/cm2 with neighboring fields overlapping being equal to 5% by area. The irradiation zone is not to be extended more than 180° in anterior chamber angle per one session. The method is repeated in full measure in the anterior chamber angle zone remaining intact during the first session.

EFFECT: dosed action; reduced risk of traumatic complications.
