SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, and can be used for treating secondary neovascular glaucoma. That is ensured by the intravenous drop-by-drop introduction of a chlorine photosensitiser (PS) for 10 minutes in dosage 0.8 mg/kg of body weight. 10 minutes after the PS introduction, retina is exposed to transpupillary laser radiation at power density 40-50 J/cm². The exposure is concentric from the arcades up to an extreme periphery in fields 4 mm in diametre overlapping of the adjacent fields by 5% of the area.

EFFECT: method allows higher early-stage clinical effectiveness in secondary neovascular glaucoma, prevented development of neovascularisation of the anterior eye segment with a complete organic block of an angle of anterior chamber and following decompensation of intraocular pressure due to photoinduced retinal and choroid thrombosis within an exposure coverage, and formation of chorioretinal atrophy centres, and thereby arrested development of angiogenic factors.
