SUBSTANCE: device comprises unit for determining the direction of the drive that determines the quadrant of the location of the vector of the kinetic moment of the gyroscope after the beginning of the regime of gyro compassing. When the vector is in the second and third quadrant, the unit generates the signal for change the sign of the voltage of the drive amplifier and introducing the correction in the reading of the pickup of the zero azimuth of the pickup.
