FIELD: agricultural engineering.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus has first device made in the form of tube and positioned on chassis between helicopter wheels. Tube has section similar to that of Laval nozzle. Locust dissecting knives are fixed within nozzle. Locust killing voltage is supplied to knives. Second device has vacuum pump located within helicopter. Pump has corrugated end for drawing of locusts from ground surface, and knives. Electric voltage is supplied to knives for killing of locusts.
EFFECT: increased efficiency in controlling of locusts population.
