FIELD: medicine; traumatic surgery; orthopedics.
SUBSTANCE: elbow join implant can be used for open treatment of elbow joint at different diseases and disorders. Implant has shoulder and elbow legs, insertion with bushing and stop ring, axis and fixing pin for fixing the bushing. Shoulder leg is made with washer-shaped lug. Insertion is mounted in lug and axis is moved in; the axis is fixed by bushing provided with stop ring. Elbow leg in its proximal part is made in form of washer-shaped tenon with recess to make contact with insertion and axis. Coaxial cylindrical openings are made in washer-shaped pin for fixing rod. Axis is made side of pin to have boss, onto which boss the cone-shaped recess is made. Fixing rod has the following surfaces: conical one - to make contact with recess and cylindrical one to make contact with elbow leg. Conical surfaces of fixing pin and recesses are made with angle of cone from 4 to 6 degrees. Elbow leg is provided with anti-rotation plates; washer-shaped lug is provided with bosses at lateral side of leg. Elbow leg at area of washer-shaped pin is provided with plate that makes contact with boss of lug.
EFFECT: prevention of slackening of axis by recessing; quick and easy bringing of fixing pin in coincidence with recess of axis.
