FIELD: working materials by cutting, namely working holes of metallic blanks.

SUBSTANCE: needle shaped milling cutter includes body with seats. In each seat bushing with pile bundle is arranged. Body is in the form of mandrel with seats arranged along radius and having rectangular cross section with rounded angles. Each seat has turning in its inner surface. On outer surface of bushing whose configuration is reciprocal to that of seat shoulder is formed. In turning of seat compression spring resting upon shoulder of bushing is arranged. Bottom of bushing is inclined by acute angle α relative to plane normal to lengthwise axis of bushing and it engages with cone surface of wave guide arranged in central longitudinal opening of mandrel. Striker is mounted in central opening of mandrel along its axis and it acts upon one end of wave-guide. Other end of wave-guide is subjected to action of helical cylindrical compression spring. Ring having holes for pile bundles is mounted on mandrel.

EFFECT: enlarged manufacturing possibilities due to controlling depth of cut off layer and micro-relief of inner surface, intensified working process due to applying stable static load and variable impulse load, improved quality of worked surface, enhanced efficiency of process, increased degree of strengthening surface.
