FIELD: manufacturing processes in machine engineering, working metals and alloys by cutting.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of imparting rotation to blank and to needle milling cutter; applying static lengthwise load and additional cyclic pulse load due to action of striker upon wave-guide supporting needle milling cutter having individual rotation drive unit and pile bundles arranged radially relative to center of worked spherical surface. Said striker and wave-guide are arranged in hydraulic cylinder joined with hydraulic pulse generator.
EFFECT: enlarged manufacturing possibilities due to controlling depth of cut-off layer and surface micro-relief, intensified working, strengthening of worked surface due to applying static and pulse load.
