Claimed method includes subsequent application of antibody to known influenza virus and influenza virus of interest (antigen) onto polymer substrate, wherein onto polymer substrate containing formed antigen/antibody complex liquid crystal layer which forms image, detectable in polarized light, is applied.

EFFECT: effective method for determination of influenza virus nature.
