FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely immunology, and can be used for diagnostics of herpes simplex virus (HSV). That is ensured by preparing a diagnostic conjugate of fluorescent nanoparticles of type InP/ZnS (hereinafter - QP, quantum points) and antibodies to IgG herpes simplex virus. Buffer solutions are used. Diagnostic conjugate is applied on a slide with a biological material containing cells of the oral mucosa of the patient. Object is microscopic by means of a luminescent microscope. If observing a specific glow in the patient's material, herpes simplex virus is diagnosed.
EFFECT: method enables higher sensitivity of immunofluorescence analysis when diagnosing herpes simplex virus at an early stage of infection when it does not yet manifest itself.
