COMPOUND DEVELOPMENT METHOD OF SERIES OF GENTLY SLOPING BEDS OF MINE FIELDS Russian patent published in 2011 - IPC E21C41/26

Abstract RU 2418168 C1

FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: method involves drilling of beds with longitudinal working trench along the strike and its development, drilling and preparation of beds with underground mine openings and their development, and reclamation of drilled mine openings. Drilling of series of beds is performed in series downwards with extension and deepening of working trench to thick bed along the strike and outlets of beds under deposits throughout the length and/or width of extraction pillars of underground development of beds, and thick bed to the boundary of mining allotment. At that, below lying beds are drilled with additional working trench if safety berm allows, and/or with drift ways from the bottom of working trench of thick bed, and overburden rocks are arranged in stock piles along the edges of working trench in the following order from edges of working trench: original rocks, deposits and fertile layer, preparation and development of beds in edges of working trench by underground method. Reclamation of open mine workings is performed stage by stage by returning in reverse order of overburden rocks and fertile layer, after flattening of edges of working trench as the mine field is being developed, with location of discharge sluice of mine waters in one of the edges from sediment chamber of working trench and by preserving transport and water drainage systems of open mine work in order to provide underground work.

EFFECT: increasing completeness of extraction of mineral product and reducing the losses of deposits, volumes of stripping operations and environmental damage.
