FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to testing of fuel devices of internal combustion engines. Proposed device for diagnosing condition of high-pressure fuel pumps has adapter with turned-in back delivery union, device for determining travel and pressure in automatic fuel injection advance mechanism. Device is furnished with first pickup taking up pressure through adapter and coupled by means of wires with controller connected with computer. Second pickup is also connected with computer being installed in device determining travel and pressure in automatic fuel injection advance mechanism and checking pressure in fuel injection advance mechanism. Third pickup is located on high-pressure line at pump union and it checks pressure directly at pump outlet.
EFFECT: improved accuracy of determining of fuel delivery commencement and evaluation of quality of functioning of automatic fuel injection advance mechanism at change of pressure in low-pressure line.
