FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for benchless testing of high-pressure fuel devices of diesel engines, namely, for checking nozzles and plunger pairs and delivery valves of high-pressure fuel-injection pumps. Invention is aimed at creating benchless testing device of reduced material usage and labour input at provision of acceptable accuracy of results of diagnosing by sufficient repeatability of test action onto member under testing. Proposed device for diagnosing high-pressure devices of diesel engine contains housing with end piece provided with high-pressure channel to deliver test liquid to member to be tested, plunger pump installed inside housing to deliver test liquid into end piece channel. Drive of pump is made in form of lever hinge-connected with housing to act onto pump plunger. Reservoir for test liquid is connected to pump supply space. Delivery valve is installed between over-plunger space and high-pressure channel to create high pressure of test liquid in channel. Pressure gauge is connected to high-pressure channel. Device is furnished with at least one replaceable device for rigid connection of end piece with input element of member to be tested. Reservoir is installed in pump drive lever and is connected to pump supply space by flexible pipeline to keep level of test liquid in reservoir higher then supply space.
EFFECT: reduced labour input, provision of sufficient reliability of testing.
