FIELD: measuring technique.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises two fiber coils of fiber-optic interferometer submerged in the fluid. In front of the coils is a hydroacoustic emitter connected with the generator of harmonic oscillations. The distance between the fiber coils and the frequency of the generator are chosen so that the sound waves from the hydroacoustic generator incident on both of the fiber coils are in phase. The signal at the output of the fiber-optic interferometer is zero.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability.
