FIELD: construction of settlers for removal of suspended solid particles from liquids.
SUBSTANCE: settler has plurality of inclined panels arranged with predetermined gaps therebetween and resting upon box-shaped construction having two side walls. Settler includes liquid inlet and liquid outlet openings. One side of box-shaped construction side walls is equipped with upper portion adapted for adjustment of its position in vertical plane in order to obtain level of clean liquid within settler, said level being arranged between low level below upper part of inclined panels and high level above upper part of inclined panels.
EFFECT: increased efficiency by allowing settler construction to be modified in order to use settler with protruding or berried edges of panels.
