FIELD: foundry; methods of manufacture of the castings and the molding material.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of foundry and may be used for production of the shaped castings. The molding material is produced by blending together the inert to the metal molding basis and the binder. The features of the molding basis and the binder are compatible among themselves so, that the coefficient of the thermal expansion of the metallic melt is higher than the coefficient of the thermal expansion of the molding product. Then they assemble the mold with use of the molding product and cast the melt into the mold. During the time of solidification of the casting the molding form is spontaneously fractionized into fragments. The fragments are removed from the casting and reprocessed into the loose molding mixture. The invention ensures simplification of the process of the castings shake-out.
