FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to foundry and can be used, in particular, for production of engine blocks and combustion heads. Dispensable mold (2) in form of several rods or parts made from sand bland comprising sand and fixant is placed in body (7) to form a space (10) between inner surface of body and the outer surface of foundry mold (2). Space (10) is filled with granular filler (F). When pouring metallic melt, the fixant from heat of the melt begins to evaporate, burn and loses its binding, and the mold (2) disintegrates. Filler (F) has pour density, which ensures the flow of gas flow through the filling. Temperature of the filler, due to the heat radiated from the foundry mold (2), and the heat liberated during the combustion of the fixant, increases above the limit temperature at which the evaporating fixant ignites and burns.
EFFECT: optimization of energy efficiency of the process is ensured, and the release of toxic substances is minimized.
