FIELD: equipment for cutting of difficult-to-machine metals, may be used for finishing, diamond-abrasive machining of part openings, for example, by honing process using static-pulsed loading of bars.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus has casing and bar holders adapted for carrying of diamond-abrasive bars arranged at the outside of holders. Bushing is rigidly fixed on casing and provided with longitudinal slots for bar holders which rest with their internal surface upon flat sine springs. Springs are rigidly fixed with their one ends on casing and pivotally connected with their other ends to ring making part of drive for changing outer diameter. Ring has fingers which are contacting with bayonet slots provided in casing at angle to longitudinal axis, and handle extending through slot within bushing. Apparatus is provided with waveguide having levers acting upon ends of bar holders, and striker positioned in central longitudinal opening of casing in axially aligned relation with respect to waveguide. Screw-type cylindrical compression springs act upon opposite ends of bar holders. Such construction provides for static radial loading and pulsed longitudinal loading of bars.
EFFECT: increased efficiency, high precision and improved quality of machining of low-rigidity blanks made from difficult-to-machine materials and alloys.
