METHOD OF DETECTION OF THE LIGNIN SUBSTANCES IN THE WASTE WATERS OF THE SULFATE-CELLULOSE PRODUCTION Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC G01N27/26

Abstract RU 2291418 C1

FIELD: pulp and paper industry; chemical industry; methods of detection of the lignin substances in the waste waters of the sulfate-cellulose production.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the methods of the analysis of the technological solutions produced at the chemical reprocessing of the wood preferentially in the process of production of the pulp-and-paper products and may be used at the analysis of the waste waters of the production using the sulfate-cellulose processing technique. The technical result of the invention is provision of the express-control over the contents of lignin substances in the waste waters of the sulfate-cellulose production. The invention provides, that the method of detection of the lignin substances in the waste waters includes the treatment of the sample of the waste waters with the oxidation-reduction system based on the salts of cerium with the subsequent potentiometric indication of the variations taking place in the system and calculation of the contents of the lignin substances based on the results of the indication with usage of the earlier gained calibration dependence. The indicated oxidation-reduction system is prepared using 0.25±0.05 mole/l of the sulfuric acid at concentration of the oxidized form of 0.001±0.0005 mole/l. For obtaining of the calibration dependence the sample controlled by waste water is acidified with the sulfuric acid up to pH 4.0-4.5, age the solution for no less than 50 minutes, separate the solid phase of the formed suspension, flush it by the water up to its neutral reaction, dehydrate, the dehydrated solid phase is suspended in the water and the produced suspension is used for construction of the calibration dependence.

EFFECT: the invention ensures realization of the express-control over the contents of the lignin substances in the waste waters of the sulfate-cellulose production.
