FIELD: ultrasonic engineering.
SUBSTANCE: radiator radiates ultrasonic oscillation pulses. Pulses which passed through sample are received by receiver. Speeds of propagation of pulses and coefficient of decay of pulses are measured. Degree of crystallinity of elastomer is calculated on the base of measured parameters from relation of χ=B1+√B2+B3xa/c, where χ is degree of crystallinity of elastomer, vol. fraction; a is coefficient of decay of ultrasonic oscillations in elastomer, m-1; c is speed of propagation of ultrasonic oscillations, m/s; B1, B2 and B3 are constants to be individual for any specific brand of elastomer.
EFFECT: widened area of application.
