SUBSTANCE: proposed AC commutator machine has commutator 3, brush holders 2, current-carrying brushes 1, additional brush holder 8, additional brush 5, 6, and is characterized in that additional brush holder 8 accommodates additional brush 5, 6 built of contact part 5 and bearing part 6, width and axial length of contact and bearing parts 5 and 6, respectively, being equal; length of contact part 5 of additional brush 5, 6 equals that of wearing part of current-carrying brush 1; axial length of additional brush 5, 6 equals that of current-carrying brush 1; width of additional brush 5, 6 is smaller than that of current-carrying brush 1 but greater than that of segment insulation 5.

EFFECT: reduced mains and field radio noise.
