FIELD: veterinary science.
SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with products and methods for decreasing dental calculus in domestic animals. The suggested chewing product for improving dental hygiene in domestic animals contains a body that has continuous and disperse phases in the ratio that the effort requiring to penetrate the product exceeds the supposed occlusion power in domestic animals in the course of normal act of biting, being under maximal occlusion power, which animals could be developed sometimes. The innovation enables to obtain the product of prolonged expiry terms that allows considerably greater quantity of bites. Moreover, the required prolonged chewing simplifies the enhanced contact with teeth and, thus, mechanic abrasive action along with removing dental calculus.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
