FIELD: manufacture of internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed air cleaner-silencer has housing made in form of silencing chamber with inlet and outlet branch pipes located coaxially on opposite sides of housing and filter element located between branch pipes dividing the silencing chamber into inlet and outlet cavities; air cleaner-silencer is also provided with cyclone unit mounted in inlet cavity on springs, electric heating element mounted in outlet cavity and plug mounted in recess of inlet cavity.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of silencing, cleaning and partial heating of supply air during operation of engine at low temperatures.
