METHOD FOR DEVELOPING NEW COLLUM FEMORIS AND ENDOPROSTHETICS AT COMPLETE DESTRUCTION OF CAPUT AND COLLUM FEMORIS Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC A61B17/56

Abstract RU 2292852 C2

FIELD: medicine, orthopedics, traumatology.

SUBSTANCE: while developing new collum femoris it is necessary to apply an autotransplant out of iliac crest at intact muscular-periosteal stem followed by applying it along anterior surface of the collum under development and, also, applying inferior ends of transplants' parts into femoral sockets. Moreover, collum femoris should be formed with autotransplants from a rib to be then combined and adapted as a bundle: one its end should be introduced into the socket prepared at the site of previous collum femoris, as for the 2nd transplant, it should be taken out of iliac crest being upon periosteal-muscular stem to cover new collum from the bottom and from the rear side. The transplant should be applied at anterior-inferior surface by thickening costal autotransplants, another end of transplants' bundle should be applied with caput femoris' endoprosthesis to be fixed to the collum, and articular part of endoprosthesis should be inserted into cotyloid cavity and fixed due to introducing tenons into prepared sockets in osseous bodies that form a cavity. One should take a P-shaped demucosed flap out of articular capsule to apply it onto anterior and superior surfaces of new collum and suture it up to the edges of crest autotransplant; new collum should be covered with a Dacron belt near the caput from the bottom, at the front and from the back sides to intersect it at the top to be then sutured up to iliac body; with the help of the second Dacron belt it should be covered from the top, at the front and from the back side to intersect it at the bottom and suture the ends up to ischiac bone. Application of the present innovation enables to prevent limb's shortening, improve processes of regeneration and prevent the resolution or the fracture of applied transplants.

EFFECT: higher efficiency.
