FIELD: oil and gas production.
SUBSTANCE: area of invention is water-gas action on oil formation to increase degree of oil recovery. In a process of treating associating oil gas to remove hydrogen sulfide involving mixing associating hydrogen sulfide-containing gas with hydrogen sulfide neutralizer when using this gas for the water-gas action, fully water-soluble neutralizer being utilized as said hydrogen sulfide neutralizer in amounts to completely neutralize hydrogen sulfide in associating oil gas. The neutralizer is preliminarily dissolved in water to be injected into formation and resulting solution is supplied to booster station chamber, wherein it is mixed with gas to form water-gas mixture.
EFFECT: reduced expenses on hydrogen sulfide neutralization due to eliminated tank equipment and maintenance thereof.
