FIELD: oil-and-gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil and gas industry and may be used for removal of hydrogen sulphide from associated petroleum gas. Proposed method comprises mixing associated petroleum gas with brine water containing high-concentration iron ions. This is performed directly in dome-shaped aquifer. Production wells are located at bed top dome section while injection wells are located downdip of production wells to inject associated petroleum gas with hydrogen sulphide. As iron ions are replaced in bed by iron sulphide, production and injection wells are located downdip. Produced iron sulphide remains in aquifer at its origin location while pure associated petroleum gas is fed to consuming equipment.
EFFECT: simplified process and equipment.
