FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ignition system of internal combustion engines. Proposed ignition switch of internal combustion engine includes series-connected stepping-up voltage converter, rectifier and reservoir capacitor, inputs of stepping up voltage converter being connected to terminals of storage battery, key, control circuit connected between input of key and ignition pickup. Key is built around transistor whose collector is connected with first out put of switch, input of switch being output of transistor base, and emitter being connected with minus terminal of storage battery; plus output of reservoir capacitor is connected with second output of switch, and minus output is connected with minus terminal of storage battery; control circuit contains series-connected control pulse shaper with duration of pulse equal to preset duration of spark discharge and high-frequency pulse-driven generator. Moreover, introduced additionally into switch circuit are two resistors series-connected between first output of reservoir capacitor and minus terminal of storage battery, point of connection of resistors being connected to input of negative voltage feedback of stepping-up voltage converter; second diode connected by its plus output with plus output of reservoir capacitor; voltage-stabilizing diode with symmetrical volt-ampere characteristic connected by one output with plus terminal of storage battery and by second output, with input of negative voltage feedback of stepping-up voltage converter, driving voltage of voltage-stabilizing diode exceeds lower value of voltage across reservoir capacitor by value of voltage drop across second diode, and stabilizing voltage of stepping-up voltage converter is equal to upper value of voltage across reservoir capacitor. Invention is aimed at enlarging sphere of application of proposed ignition switch with possibility of its use on engines of higher power rating, reducing energy losses and increasing reliability of ignition switch, reducing overall dimensions and mass of ignition system as a whole.
EFFECT: facilitated starting of engine and provision of efficiency of ignition system of the order of 80%.
