METHOD FOR DETECTING ANTIBODIES Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC G01N33/53

Abstract RU 2293330 C1

FIELD: veterinary immunology.

SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with detecting the level of antibody-formation in animal body. It is necessary to supplement the lymphocytes isolated from cattle's blood about 1.0-3.0%-citric acid solution at volumetric ratio of 5-10:1, wash with phosphate buffer at pH=7.2 to be incubated with 5-15% solution of equine serum in RPMI-1640 medium at 4°C, fixation of lymphocytes should be conducted before adding an antigen, moreover, as antigen one may apply monoclonal antibodies to cattle's immunoglobulin M. Monoclonal antibodies to cattle's immunoglobulin M should be applied at 1:10000-20000 dilution. The innovation provides the chance to detect cytoplasmatic and membranous immunoglobulins of animals' lymphocytes and, also, the level of antibody-formation in animals' body.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of detection.
