FIELD: instrumentation engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed alloy can be used as material for thermomagnetic recording in production of magneto-optic memory devices. This alloy has following ingredients, atom percent: palladium, 4-10; platinum, 46-40; cobalt, the rest.
EFFECT: enhanced energy sensitivity, reduced coercive force.
