FIELD: medicine, thoracic surgery.
SUBSTANCE: the present innovation could be applied at the first stages in treating post-burn esophageal strictures. During the first stage of therapy it is necessary to fulfill lateral thoracotomy right-hand, resect thoracic esophageal department, carry out colostomy left-hand along internal edge of sternocleidomastoid muscle, form cervical esophagostoma, conduct superior-median laparotomy. Additionally, one should perform pararectal incision in left hypochondrium to introduce a distal end of intersected esophagus through it, form abdominal esophagostoma due to suturing esophageal mucosa with wound's cutaneous edges with separate interrupted sutures. With the help of additional interrupted sutures it is necessary to fix gastric bottom towards parietal peritoneum around esophagostoma. The innovation suggested enables to keep the integrity of anterior gastric wall, excludes the leakage of gastric content by excluding parastomal complications and, also, requires no constant wearing the catheter for nutrition.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of therapy.
