FIELD: medicine, thoracic surgery.
SUBSTANCE: the present innovation could be applied at first stages of therapy in case of combined post-burn esophageal and gastric strictures. It is necessary to fulfill the access along anterior edge of left nodding muscle, isolate and cross the esophagus, suture up esophageal mucosa towards the skin of anterior cervical surface. Moreover, the edge of crossed esophagus should be sutured up towards the lower angle of colotomal wound at the level of left sterno-clavicular symphysis by fixing esophageal walls through all the layers with skin with interrupted sutures. The distance between esophageal punctures- in should be made to be 2-4-fold wider against those at skin till the development of stoma of 4-6 mm diameter. The suggested innovation enables to exclude loose excretion of saliva in area of stoma, decrease the frequency of cervical anastomosis strictures at the second stage of therapy conducted.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
