POLYPHASE SEPARATOR Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: oil extractive industry.

SUBSTANCE: separator has body with branch pipes for inlet of gas-fluid mixture and outlet of oil, water, gas and mechanical admixtures. Inside the body hollow perforated helical conveyer is mounted with spirals mounted at angle to helical conveyer axis. They form flow-through channel with slits, divider of water flow with mechanical admixtures, which is placed coaxially to the body with forming of ring-shaped chamber for outlet of mechanical admixtures. On upper end of hollow perforated helical conveyer and in upper end of divider of water flow with mechanical admixtures conical safety walls are mounted. They form accepting hollow and are used to prevent fluid discharge together with mechanical admixtures and to provide for supplying of this fluid onto helical conveyer spirals. Between branch pipes for outlet of oil and water divider of flow of water with oil is mounted. Divider is made in form of solid barrel. At lower portion of branch pipes slits are made.

EFFECT: simplified separator construction and better quality of separation of polyphase mixture on gas, oil, water and mechanical admixtures.
