FIELD: petroleum production; separation of multi-phase gas-and-liquid mixtures.
SUBSTANCE: proposed separator has housing with tangential branch pipe for admitting the multi-phase mixture and branch pipes for discharge of gas, oil, water and mechanical impurities. Arranged in center part of separator is circular oil trapping chamber. Mounted concentrically relative to said chamber are two coaxial tubes provided with circular passage. Oil discharge circular passage is blanked off in its upper part. Separator is provided with cylindrical partition with gas equalizing holes in upper part and water discharge reservoir arranged inside it. Mounted on outer wall of circular chamber is gas trap. Diameter of cylindrical partition is equal to inner diameter of circular chamber. Inner wall of separator is coated with coalescent layer. Separator is also provided with separator module mounted at separator inlet and used for preliminary separation.
EFFECT: improved quality of separation.
