FIELD: transport engineering; passenger cars.
SUBSTANCE: proposed car lateral stabilizer is made in form of resilient rod arranged in brackets rigidly secured on longitudinal beams of frame. Ends of bracket are intercoupled with arms of independent suspension. Rod of stabilizer is provided with splines in middle part on which two splined bushing a are installed for translation, said bushings being fitted for movement in guides of car frame. Each bushing is coupled by tie-rods with additional levers rigidly fastened on farms of independent suspension in zones of high joints fastening them to beams of car frame.
EFFECT: provision of automatic control of torsional rigidity of stabilizer of a car independent suspension.
