FIELD: petroleum processing.
SUBSTANCE: process specifically related to production of motor fuel and fuel oil comprises heating liquid hydrocarbon feedstock including fraction boiling above 350 C and separating it in separator into liquid fuel oil fraction and vapor phase. Upper portion of separator is constructed as rectification column section. Vapor phase escaping separator is passed to rectification column, from which gasoline fraction and diesel fuel product fraction are withdrawn. Rectification column top product: gasoline fraction of feedstock in amount 35-60% based on the content of fraction above 350 C in feedstock is returned as recycle stream into feedstock. . Rectification column bottom product: diesel fuel product fraction in amount 45-70% based on the content of fraction above 350°C in feedstock is used as reflux in separator.
EFFECT: increased degree of recovery of light petroleum products, improved quality of diesel fuel, and improved economical efficiency of the process.
