FIELD: food-processing industry.
SUBSTANCE: separator of vacuum evaporation apparatus has working chamber, metal strainers, and combination of movable and immovable members. Movable members are actuated by electric engine fixed centrally of bottom outer surface, under hermetically sealed hood, whose cavity is communicated along its inner perimeter through openings with cover inner cavity. Engine shaft is introduced into cover cavity. Bushing with fan blades is attached to engine shaft. Upper and end edges of blades are bent in direction of rotation to conform to cover profile section. Annular ring attached to lower edges of blades has inner diameter 2-5 times smaller than outer diameter equal to diameter of round cone base. Cylindrical strainer is attached along outer perimeter of annular ring, in spaced relation to edge, on lower surface thereof. Immovable members of separator are secured within detachable cylinder, which is fixed in gap-free manner within cover shell. Circular cone is fixed in lower part of cylinder. Base of inverted truncated circular cone is fixed in gap-free manner to upper edge of cylinder. Base of straight truncated cone is fixed to upper edge of cylinder. Method for extracting of sea-buckthorn oil from juice involves, according to first version, providing evaporation in vacuum evaporator with separator at temperature below 60 C without overheating and adding of vegetable oil; according to second version, providing evaporation with juice overheating and without adding of vegetable oil. Foam suppression method involves locating 1-5 strainers at desired height within cavity of reservoir filled with liquid, said strainers adjoining reservoir wall. Vapor-and-liquid flow separation method involves using countercurrent flow of droplets.
EFFECT: increased yield of sea buckthorn oil from juice, wider range of foam suppression, vapor separation and vapor filtering processes, and intensified evaporation process.
