FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to separation of aerosuspensions in coal, construction and other industries. Method for separation of aerosuspension with application of rotor under action of centrifugal, centripetal forces, forces of gravity and inertia of dust is characterised by the fact that flow of aerosuspension is directed parallel to axis of rotor rotation downright, filtration of flow is carried out via moving grid - rotor shell, at the same time cleaned gas is compressed in paraxial cavity of rotor and is drained out as prescribed, and gas underpressure is pulled in space near grid. Rotoclone comprises round cylindrical body, rotor, cavities of aerosuspension distribution and separation, cavity of dust discharge, nozzles for aerosuspension supply, discharge of cleaned gas and dust, motor having extended shaft, which is inserted in cavity of aerosuspension separation, where rotor is fixed, being equipped with shell arranged as meshy, between bottom of rotor in the form of disk and cover in the form of circular ring there are blades of radial-axial centripetal compressor fixed, at the same time in cavity of separation there is rim installed with scrapers for dust removal.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of methods and machines for separation of aerosuspensions, shift of caught dust dispersion level from micro- to nano-size.
