FIELD: metallurgy, particularly, preparation of raw materials for blast-furnace and converter conversion. SUBSTANCE: iron-containing material of mixture contains mixture of iron ore concentrates, sintering, and/or converter, and/or blast-furnace slime and scale. Amount of slime in mixture Msl= K.Fe total/(SiO2+CaO+MgO+Al2O3), where Msl is amount of slime in mixture, kg/t; Fe total is required content of iron in ready sinter equalling 40-56 wt.%; SiO2 is required content in ready sinter of silicon oxide equalling 3-6 wt.%; CaO is required content in ready sinter of calcium oxide equalling 10-30 wt.%; MgO is required content in ready sinter of magnesium oxide equalling 2.0-6.5 wt.%; Al2O3 is required content in ready sinter of aluminum oxide equalling 0.5-1.5 wt.%; K is empirical coefficient characterizing physico-chemical regularities of sinter caking and its service characteristics and equalling 200-500 kg/t. Amount of iron-containing material is 0.74-0.85 of total amount of mixture. Weight fractions of mixture components amount to: mixture of iron ore concentrates, 0.08-0.12; slimes, 0.70-0.72; scale, 0.16-0.22; fuel, 0.036-0.054; fluxes, 0.14-0.30 from amount of iron-containing material in mixture, and moisture content in mixture amounts to 7.6-8.9%. Produced mixture ensures obtaining of sinter with high basicity from 2.0 to 5.0. EFFECT: higher strength of mixture. 1 tbl
