FIELD: positive-displacement engines driven by liquids.

SUBSTANCE: axial-piston controllable engine comprises rocking unit and control mechanism that has control differential piston mounted inside the housing of the control mechanism and kinematically connected with the rocking unit. The piston space is defined between the face of the control piston and housing of the control mechanism. The engine has two valve blocks mounted in the housing of the control mechanism. Each of the blocks has direct-acting and check safety valves mounted in the housing of the block. The housing of the control mechanism is provided with first passage, second passage, and third passage. The inlet of the check valve of the first valve block is connected with the first opening for supplying/discharging fluid. The outlet of the check valve of the first block is connected with the first and second passages. The inlet of the safety valve of the first block is connected with the second passage. The outlet of the safety valve of the first block is connected with the first opening for supplying/discharging fluid. The inlet of the check valve of the second valve block is connected with the second opening for supplying/discharging fluid. The outlet of the check valve of the second block is connected with the third passage. The inlet of the safety valve of the second block is connected with the third passage. The outlet of the safety valve of the second block is connected with the second opening for supplying/discharging fluid. The other end of the first passage is connected with the hydraulic distributor for control of pressure in the piston space, and the second and third passages are connected with the rod space.

EFFECT: simplified structure and reduced mass and sizes.
