FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: drive comprises housing made of a single part, engine mounted on the housing, reduction gear, and position pickup. The input stage of the reduction gear is made of a cylindrical gear whose pinion is made on the engine shaft, and gearing wheel is mounted on the intermediate shaft. The output stage of the reduction gear is made of a worm gear whose output link is made of a worm sector and secured to the output shaft. The worm of the worm gear is mounted on the intermediate shaft between its bearings, and gearing wheel of the cylindrical gear is placed out of the zone of bearings. The pinion and gearing wheel of the cylindrical gear are mounted outside of the housing. The position pickup is connected with the output shaft. The housing has parallel bores for receiving the engine and intermediate shaft, bore for receiving the output shaft, bore for receiving the position pickup , and groove for receiving the worm sector.

EFFECT: reduced mass and eased manufacturing.
