FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: electromechanical steering drive comprises a split body made of two half-bodies, involute worm engaged with helical gear interacting with gear shaft, which gear is engaged with a gear wheel interacting with the output shaft of the drive, having at one end an output part interacting with the means of control, setting and holding the angular positions of the steering wheel, and at the end of the other end there is a magnet which acts on the magnetic sensor of the angle of rotation fixed on one half-body. Worm has a permanent connection with a half-coupling interacting with the output shaft of the electric motor, which is fixed on one half-body, and with a bearing which is fixed by means of a retaining ring and is a fixed support of the worm. On the other end of the worm there is a bearing fixed by means of a lock ring and which is a movable support of the worm. Worm supports are arranged in one half-body. Gear shaft interacts with the bearings in contact with the half-bodies and can be adjusted axially by means of a plate washer in contact with the bearing of one support and with the screw that contacts the half-body. Output shaft of the drive interacts with bearings containing an elastic seal, which are supports and contact with the half-bodies without possibility of axial displacement.
EFFECT: higher efficiency, simplified design, higher reliability and speed of the drive.
