FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and represents a structure of power steering booster with electric drive. Power steering booster with electric drive consisting of housing (1), inside which the drive and driven shafts (2, 3) are placed, worm drive consisting of worm gear (7) mounted concentrically to driven shaft (3), and worm shaft (4), driven by motor (5). Between electric motor (5) and worm shaft (4) safety coupling (6) is installed. Reduction gear is two-stepped, in which the worm drive is the first stage, and the planetary gear is the second stage, wherein sun gear (8) of the planetary gear is located on the extension of the shaft of worm gear (7), and carrier (9) of planetary gear is in contact with driven shaft (3) by means of coupling (10). Between the cavities, in which the worm and planetary gears are installed, a collar is installed.
EFFECT: wider range of use of a power steering booster with electric drive.
