SUBSTANCE: steering drive contains a housing, an electric motor, a cylindrical transmission, an orthogonal worm gear, and a feedback sensor. The involute worm is mounted on two rolling bearings, each of the rolling bearings consists of a pair of ball bearings. One of the rolling bearings is fixed in the housing using a locking nut. The output shaft of the drive is mounted on two ball bearings. The worm is engaged with a bevel gear that interacts with the output shaft of the drive, which has an output part at one end that interacts with the controls, setting and holding the angular positions of the steering wheel. At the other end, a magnet is fixed from the end, acting on a magnetic rotation angle sensor mounted on the housing. The bearings of the worm supports are mounted on a worm without the possibility of axial displacement, forming fixed and floating supports, and the output shaft of the drive interacts with bearings, a bevel gear, a nut that acts and fixes bearings and a bevel gear from axial movement. One of the bearings interacting with the housing is fixed by a nut that keeps the drive output shaft from moving axially relative to the housing, and the other bearing is in contact with the housing. The bearings form fixed and floating supports of the drive output shaft. The bearings contain an elastic seal.
