FIELD: electrical engineering; controlling induction motors including traction ones.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method involves evaluation of induction motor voltage frequency as sum of rotor frequency of rotation plus its optimal slip. Optimal slip and desired value of voltage U are found as function of signal Md from voltage regulator output corresponding to respective desired electromagnetic torque, rated electromagnetic torque Mr, rated synchronous frequency of motor rotation f1r, rated electromagnetic torque Mr, rated frequency f2r of motor rotation, and rated voltage Ur of induction motor from definite formulas.
EFFECT: provision for maintaining optimal conditions throughput entire range of rotor frequency of rotation at actually constant power factor, overload ratio, and absolute slip.
