FIELD: medicine, surgery.
SUBSTANCE: one should dissect skin and subcutaneous fiber, dissect fascia, aponeurosis of external oblique muscle of abdomen and anterior wall of the sheath of rectus muscle of abdomen in direction from the caput of the 12th rib towards the point being 1 cm below the umbilicus. By not achieving the umbilicus it is necessary to separate internal oblique muscle of abdomen bluntly along its own fibers, then one should alter the direction of incision line, in proximal and distal directions for about 2-3 cm strictly vertically along external edge of the sheath of rectus muscle of abdomen the Spiegel's line should be dissected. The innovation enables to increase the strength of surgical wound and decrease traumatism of surgical interference.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
