FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves stepping 2 cm aside from the median line at the umbilicus level for making transverse incision to intersection with the anterior axillary line. When stepping 2 cm aside from the median line, skin and subcutaneous fat are longitudinally cut from rib arc to join the first incision. Both sheets of the sheath of the musculus rectus abdominis are longitudinally opened. The musculus rectus abdominis is exfoliated along the fibers. The lateral portion of the musculus rectus abdominis is transected. Anterolateral flap of the peritoneal wall is carried to outward. EFFECT: reduced risk of traumatic complications; accelerated operation.
