FIELD: mechanical engineering; printing industry.

SUBSTANCE: proposed container is installed, with possibility of taking out, into printer in which great number of containers for liquid can be installed. Printer includes electric contacts of device corresponding to containers for liquid, photodetector to receive light and electric circuit connected with line connected with all electric contacts of device. Container for liquid includes electric contact of container which can come into electrical connection with one of contacts of device, information storage capable of storing at least individual information concerning container for liquid, part radiating light, controller to control radiation of light by light radiating part when information presented by signal showing individual information supplied through electric contact of container and information kept in storage are analogous.

EFFECT: provision of control of correct placing of each container in printer using one line connected with all electric contacts of device.
